it is a natural volcanic rock, extremely light, chemically inert, with neutral pH, stable and unalterable over time and highly porous. These physical features make perlite a mineral matrix which, added to moulds, guarantees an excellent absorption of water which is then released progressively to the soil together with the nutrients, carrying out the task of draining the soil, keeping it oxygenated and aerated, filtering the excess water and protecting the root systems from sudden changes in temperature, enabling their proper development. It can be used in floriculture, horticulture, to grow small fruits and in nursery gardening.
mix to the substratum with a dose of 10-15% of the volume (ex. 5 l of perlite in 50 l of substratum). Change the percentages depending on the porousness and looseness to be achieved.
