Product specially studied with the characteristics required by Phalaenopsis orchids and all species of epiphytic orchids with aerial roots (Dendrobium, Vanda, Cattleya, Odontoglossum). It is obtained from a careful blend of maritime pine bark (grain size 5-15 mm) which guarantees good aeration and drainage.
Use the product for repotting, which is best done in concomitance with the vegetative awakening.
It ensures a good drainage for the plant by placing a layer of expanded clay on the bottom of the pot, above which the specific substrate for orchids will be added, leaving the collar of the plant 1-2 cm below the edge of the pot. Then compress the substrate so it adheres to the roots.
